About
Separate a man from his books and you alienate him from his past.
Holding on to the books you read is the easy emotional choice for any bibliophile, but not only does this become more impractical with every book, it’s also mean-spirited — why deprive others of the opportunity to enjoy the books that have given so much joy?
I no longer wish to hold on to absolutely every book I read, but neither do I wish to forget those I choose to relinquish, good or bad. This site is therefore an experiment — is a virtual bookshelf as good as a real one?
